The use of acoustic devices also allows pedestrian guidance at intersections with a sound similar to a chirping bird or the sound of a cuckoo.

Additional Power Supply Devices for Waterproof Road Traffic Signals
These devices supply power to road traffic signal controllers in the event of a power outage. Encasing the device in a waterproof covering protects the device in a flood and, once waters have receded, supplies power to road traffic signals in the event of a power outage and maintains safe road traffic.
