Railway Signaling Systems
Thread Lines
Thread Lines are devices placed at the edge of the platform surface on the railway side, to alert passengers and prevent them from falling onto the tracks.

Space Lights are placed underneath platforms, with the light emitted upward and reflected on the trains, thereby making it easier for passengers to ascertain the conditions around their feet.

Starting in 2008, and continuing until October 2009, we installed these facilities at ten stations along the lines of Tobu Railway Co., Ltd. The platforms of Ohyama Station on the Tojo Line for outbound trains feature both Thread Lines and Space Lights, making it even easier to attract the attention of passengers.
