Train Operation Information Distribution System
Mobile TID
A range of train operation and maintenance data are collected in the mobile TID server from train management systems. Useful information is distributed to the portable terminals (mobile terminals) of station staff, train crews, and maintenance personnel from the server via the mobile phone network or in-house network (wireless LAN).
Display of train operation status
To show the train operation status, the TID screen is launched by selecting the launcher button on the mobile terminal menu (the multi-functional button that pops up by clicking the mouse or using shortcut keys on the desktop screen), and information on trains approaching the station and delayed train schedules for all lines can be accessed on a real-time basis. Data on train operating status for lines being managed and other lines can be obtained from the passenger messages distribution system and displayed on the TID screen as telop information (tickers).

The following data can be displayed on Mobile TID:

Information on trains on lines and train types (including train No. and operation No.)
Information on delayed train schedules
Information on train schedules
Various types of messages
Other application examples
Can be used for supporting train operation notifications to train crews
Temporary speed limitation notices and temporary slow operation notices at times of natural disasters and construction can be distributed in advance to train crews. In addition, changes in the operation time due to schedule reorganization and changes in the order of train operation and stand-by areas, cancelled operations, and instructions on storage can be distributed to mobile terminals, to assist the work of train crews.
Helps enhancing passenger services
Operating information of the lines of other companies and emergency disaster prevention information can be distributed to mobile terminals carried by train crews and station staff, to be used for timely broadcasting of transfer guidance and emergency evacuation guidance to passengers. In this way, the equipment can help enhance passenger services.
A range of support tools can be offered to maintenance and security personnel
The actual train schedules and operating status of the last train, maintenance train, and first train distributed on mobile terminals may be used together with the schedules carried by train security personnel, to check trains approaching railway construction sites on a real-time basis. The equipment may be used as a support tool to facility railway construction work.
