FA personal computers have been used widely with railroad signal systems in recent years.
However, these have experienced issues relating to maintainability and product service life.
KOMIC-PC was developed using technologies from our KOMIC-50 control computer in order to solve these issues. This general-purpose PC can be used securely over a long time.

The redundant fans prevent the PC operations being affected even when one of the fans fails. Fan failures can be detected. |
The OS has been converted to ROM, so the system will not be destroyed even if the power source shuts down during operation. |
For HDD usage, a highly reliable, pre-screened HDD is provided. |
Components to be replaced regularly are gathered in a block, enabling replacement by simple operations.
Replacement is possible without opening the top cover and just by removing the front and rear panels.

Our Company’s standard components are used in the KOMIC-PC, just as with the KOMIC. Long-term stable supply was realized by promptly developing interchangeable components when their production stopped. |
The operating system is Windows® XP Pro Embedded* supported over a long period (to be supplied up to December 31, 2016). Windows® Embedded Standard* will also be supported. * Windows is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and other countries.
